Working in a hotel is more than giving recommendations, making bookings or making up rooms. Here at Park Avenue Hospitality Group, we believe that small things matter and we aim to make someone’s day - in real, unforgettable ways.
As part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to create awareness for the special needs children as well as to promote the Business of Happiness in the hotel industry, we invited students from the Metta School, Rainbow Centre and Canossian School to display their talents through the Park Avenue Art Competition.
Each school was given a theme to display their talents and the students’ art pieces were displayed at the lobbies of our properties for all hotel guests and staff to participate in the voting of the winner.
This art competition signifies our concerted effort in creating meaningful interaction between corporate and voluntary welfare organisations, so as to promote a giving nation.
“It’s a great form of motivation and encouragement as it shows the children that despite their disabilities, they can also participate in contests and gain recognition just like the rest of their peers. With meaningful initiatives like this, it will definitely boost the morale for both parent and child.” - Sabir Ahamed, Guest at Park Avenue Changi.
